The Flavour Fleet has been named Mobile Caterer of the Year 2026 for Northern England at the UK Enterprise Awards, and we're absolutely chuffed!
The UK Enterprise Awards are organised by SME News, a publication dedicated to celebrating the achievements of small and medium-sized businesses across the UK.
Now in their ninth year, the awards recognise businesses from all sorts of industries that are making a real difference through their innovation, hard work, business performance and commitment to doing things brilliantly.
So to be recognised as Mobile Caterer of the Year for the whole of Northern England is something we're incredibly proud of!

A Lot More Than Just Great Food
Anyone who knows me knows how much I love what we do at The Flavour Fleet. From serving up sizzling sausages at festivals to feeding hundreds of hungry staff at corporate events, there's nothing quite like seeing people enjoying great food and having a brilliant time.
But behind all the fun, there's been an enormous amount of hard work going on to make The Flavour Fleet the business it is today.
Over the past couple of years, we've put a huge amount of effort into developing the business, building a fantastic team and making sure that every event we attend runs as smoothly as possible.
We've invested in better systems, software and processes that cover pretty much everything we do. From organising the warehouse and preparing our catering units to serving customers, packing everything away and getting ready for the next event, we've documented it all.
It might not sound particularly glamorous, but it makes an enormous difference!
It means our team knows exactly what needs doing, everyone can take pride in their work, and our customers receive the same brilliant service whether we're catering for 500 people or 5,000.
And importantly, it means we can continue to grow without losing the personality, quality and attention to detail that make The Flavour Fleet what it is.
Bigger Opportunities, Same Flavour Fleet Personality
One of our biggest developments has been introducing our new Sausage Box van. Having a fully drivable catering unit has opened up so many more opportunities, particularly when it comes to catering for businesses.
We're now able to pop up at workplaces, car parks and business premises to serve freshly cooked, delicious food to staff and customers. Whether it's a regular staff lunch, a customer appreciation event or a special company celebration, we can bring the food and the atmosphere directly to you.
Working with businesses such as Howdens has shown us just how much potential there is for this side of The Flavour Fleet, and it's something we're really excited to develop further.
This One's for the Team
As much as I'm delighted to have won this award, it's the team I'm most proud of.
We've built a brilliant group of people who genuinely care about what they do, look out for one another and always find ways to make things better. There's plenty of hard work, lots of laughter and usually a fair bit of banter along the way!
We've worked hard to create a business that's a great place to work, as well as one that delivers a fantastic experience for our customers.
So a massive thank you to everyone who's been part of our journey, from our wonderful team to the businesses, event organisers and customers who continue to put their trust in us.
