A message from Hayley
I’m Hayley, the founder of The Flavour Fleet, and I wanted to build something that felt different from the usual catering options.
I’ve worked in events and hospitality for years, and I know how stressful organising an event can be. You want things to run smoothly. You want people you can rely on. You want guests to walk away thinking they’ve had something special.
That’s why I started this business. I wanted to serve food that makes people light up. I wanted a team who genuinely enjoy what they do. And I wanted a standard of quality and care that you can feel as soon as you walk up to one of our units.
I’m still hands on. I’m still grafting with the team. And I’m still completely in love with the buzz of seeing a crowd enjoy what we’ve made for them.
The team isn’t just a bunch of people in vans. They’re the heart of everything we do.
They cook, they serve, they chat with guests, they keep the atmosphere light and fun. But behind the scenes they’re also the ones handling the finances, nailing down the schedules, keeping our systems running and making sure each unit is spotless and fully prepped before every event.
Everyone mucks in. Everyone cares. Everyone plays a part in making this fleet run like it does.
From early morning loading to late night pack-down, they put a proper shift in and they do it with character and pride. It’s a true team effort, and that energy spills over into the experience we bring to your event.
